Iceland Batch 2
Summary
Description
You are about to join an epic photography road trip down to the stunning country of fire and ice, Iceland. You will get to experience photographing majestic waterfalls, endless coastal areas, unique and rugged mountain peaks along coastal areas, glaciers, ice lagoons, and ice beaches. This part of the Earth offers breathtaking views beyond what you can imagine, making it the visual playground of a serious landscape photographer. Every night, we will hunt and capture the magnificent Northern Lights since February is considered one of the best months to see the Northern Lights.
We will start our journey in the beautiful capital city of Reykjavik. You are expected to arrive on the 18th of February and book your own hotel close to Hallgrímskirkja Church. Participants will be asked to meet up at a specific restaurant nearby for dinner. The official start of the tour happens the next day where we will begin our journey to the south.
After we have covered the locations in the south and east, we will take our long journey to Snæfellsnes Peninsula. It will take us 2 days to get there in generally normal weather. We will photograph Kirkjufell, Búðakirkja and Gatklettur.
On our final days in Iceland, we will head back to Reykjavik to conclude our tour.
